Managed MCP Server for PostgreSQL & SQL Databases

The easiest way to connect AI agents like Claude to your PostgreSQL or SQL database. Our managed MCP server gives you one secure URL — no config files, no .env headaches, no local setup.

✓ 2 database connections · ✓ Read-only by default · ✓ Start free

The problem

Self-hosted MCP servers are a pain

Config per device

Running local MCP servers means JSON config files, .env files, and API keys scattered across every machine. Set up your MCP SQL server once, then do it again on your laptop, your desktop, your CI.

No safety net

One wrong query could hit production. No read-only defaults, no audit trail, no guardrails. Your credentials sit in plaintext.

Solo only

Every team member maintains their own local setup. No shared credentials, no central logging, no way to see who queried what.

How it works

Four steps. Under a minute.

  1. Get your credentials
From Supabase, Neon, AWS RDS, Railway, Azure SQL, PlanetScale, or any PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server

  2. Save in Synra
We encrypt with AES-256 and generate your secure MCP endpoint

  3. Copy your URL
One secure gateway URL that works on every device
    https://app.mcpserver.design/api/mcp/...

  4. Connect in Claude
Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → Paste URL. Done.

Ask Claude about your database

  • "What tables are in my database?"
  • "Show me users who signed up this week"
  • "How many active subscriptions do I have?"
  • "Describe the orders table structure"

Common questions

What databases do you support?

PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, and Supabase are all supported. Connect any PostgreSQL database — AWS RDS, Neon, Railway, Render, DigitalOcean, self-hosted, and more. MySQL and MS SQL Server connect via standard connection strings. More connectors coming — let us know what you need.

Is my data safe?

Yes. All connections are read-only by default — we block INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, DROP, and ALTER at the gateway level. Your credentials are encrypted with AES-256 and only decrypted at request time. Every query is logged.

Can Claude modify my database?

No. Synra only allows SELECT queries. Any attempt to run INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, or other write operations is blocked and logged.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes — sign up and test your connection for free. Subscribe when you're ready to unlock full access.

What's the difference between Starter and Lifetime?

Both plans include the same features: 2 database connections, 10,000 requests/day, read-only access, encryption, and audit logs. Starter is $19/month (cancel anytime). Lifetime is $69 one-time payment — pay once, use forever with all future updates included.
